Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using lsca.online, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use this website.
These terms apply to the public website, product information, demonstration requests and general enquiries concerning LIS Secure Communicator Agent, also referred to as “LSCA.”
The purchase, installation or use of LSCA software may be governed by a separate quotation, order form, licence agreement, support agreement or other written contract. Where a separate signed agreement conflicts with these website terms, the signed agreement will take priority for the matters it covers.
Purpose of this website
This website provides general information about LSCA, including its features, security approach, supported communication standards, pricing model and intended laboratory connectivity use cases.
Website content is provided for general informational and commercial enquiry purposes. It does not constitute technical, medical, regulatory, procurement or legal advice.
Product information and compatibility
LSCA is designed to support secure communication between compatible laboratory instruments, LIS software and authorized central systems. Compatibility depends on factors that may include:
- The source instrument or LIS software
- The protocol and message format in use
- The destination middleware or API
- Network, firewall and certificate requirements
- Operating system and software dependencies
- Vendor documentation and permitted interfaces
- Site-specific configuration requirements
References to HL7, ASTM, FHIR, REST APIs or particular laboratory environments describe supported integration capabilities. They do not guarantee compatibility with every implementation, profile, version or vendor configuration.
Compatibility should be confirmed through technical review, testing or a proof-of-concept where appropriate before a production purchase or deployment.
Demonstrations and evaluations
Demonstrations, trials and compatibility assessments are intended to help evaluate whether LSCA may be suitable for a particular environment. A demonstration does not guarantee that LSCA will meet every operational, regulatory, security or integration requirement.
Any sample, trial or evaluation software may be subject to additional conditions, time limits, technical restrictions or a separate evaluation agreement.
Demonstration requests and general enquiries must not include patient names, test results, medical records, credentials, private keys or other sensitive health or security information.
Pricing and commercial information
Unless otherwise stated, the standard LSCA licence price shown on the website is USD 22 per connected laboratory device or instrument per month.
Website pricing may exclude applicable taxes, banking charges, currency conversion costs, installation, customization, on-site deployment, specialized integration, training or separately agreed support services.
Bulk, national, multi-site and enterprise pricing may be different from the standard listed price. The final price, licence quantity, billing period, implementation scope and support arrangements will be stated in the applicable quotation, order or agreement.
Website pricing may be changed prospectively. A price displayed on the website does not by itself create a binding purchase agreement.
Software licences
LSCA is licensed software and is not sold as an unrestricted transfer of ownership. Each licence is limited to the number of devices, instruments, endpoints, sites or other units specified in the applicable order or licence agreement.
A customer must not install, copy, activate or operate more instances than the purchased licence quantity permits.
Software access, updates, support, renewal, activation, deployment and usage rights may be governed by a separate licence agreement or commercial order.
Unless expressly permitted in writing, users must not:
- Copy or redistribute the software
- Sell, sublicense, rent or transfer a licence
- Circumvent licence or activation controls
- Remove ownership or copyright notices
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use LSCA beyond the purchased or authorized scope
These restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and the governing licence agreement.
Deployment responsibilities
Customers and deploying organizations remain responsible for their own systems, infrastructure, data governance and operational decisions. This includes responsibility for:
- Obtaining required organizational and regulatory approvals
- Authorizing the systems and destinations LSCA may connect to
- Maintaining compatible source and destination systems
- Providing suitable network and endpoint environments
- Managing authorized users and administrative access
- Maintaining appropriate backups and recovery procedures
- Ensuring lawful processing of laboratory and health data
- Following relevant instrument and LIS vendor documentation
LSCA should be configured and deployed only by appropriately authorized and technically qualified personnel.
Acceptable use
You must not use the website or LSCA services to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation
- Gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data
- Transmit malware, malicious code or harmful traffic
- Interfere with website or service availability
- Probe or test security without written authorization
- Misrepresent your identity, authority or organization
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- Transmit data without the necessary permission
- Use LSCA as a substitute for required clinical review or diagnostic decision-making
Access may be restricted or terminated where misuse, security risk or unauthorized activity is identified.

Third-party systems and services
LSCA may communicate with third-party instruments, LIS applications, middleware, APIs, databases or health information systems. These products and services are controlled by their respective owners and may have separate terms, licences, documentation and security requirements.
LSCA is not responsible for changes, outages, defects, restrictions or incompatibilities introduced by third-party products or services.

We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but website content may contain errors, omissions or information that later becomes outdated.
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components.
Product performance depends on configuration, connected systems, network conditions, message formats and the customer’s operating environment. Specific product commitments, warranties and service levels apply only when included in a written agreement.
LSCA transports and integrates laboratory information. It does not perform laboratory testing, produce diagnostic results or replace clinical interpretation and review.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LSCA and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this public website.
This may include loss arising from reliance on general website information, external links, third-party services or compatibility assumptions that were not confirmed through a written agreement or technical assessment.
Liability relating to purchased software, implementation, support or professional services will be governed by the applicable written licence, quotation, order or service agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Responsibility for misuse
You are responsible for activity carried out through systems, credentials or environments under your control. You must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access and must notify the relevant support contact if you become aware of suspected misuse affecting LSCA.
Privacy and communications
Information provided through enquiries and demonstration requests is handled as described in the LSCA Privacy Policy.
By sending an enquiry, you authorize us to use the contact information provided to respond to that enquiry and discuss the requested product or service.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict access to the website or associated services where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, legal requirements, non-payment or violation of an applicable agreement.
Termination or expiry of a software licence is governed by the corresponding licence or commercial agreement.
Governing terms and disputes
Any dispute concerning purchased software, implementation or support will be handled under the governing law and dispute process stated in the applicable written agreement.
For matters concerning only the public website, the applicable law and competent courts will be determined according to the location and legal status of the LSCA contracting entity and any mandatory legal requirements.
Changes to these terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated to reflect changes in the website, LSCA services, commercial arrangements or applicable requirements.
Revised terms become effective when published on this page. The effective date shown at the top of the page identifies the most recent revision.
